Artist Statment

Fueled by curiosity and driven by introspection. These are the words I would use to describe the work I do. Utilizing themes most commonly revolving around nature, mortality, and identity; I seek to portray the interconnectedness they share. I make what I feel I should at any given moment. With many mediums at my disposal, I mix and match to create something unique to myself; as my identity remains ambiguous, so does my art. I thrive off my versatility, never satisfied settling in just one area of practice. I always yearn to continue to grow. 

As an artist, my goal is to create and evoke something from someone. My hope is that when someone looks at my work, they feel a sense of belonging. I strive to create relatable works in hopes that when observed, it provides at least one person with closure that they themselves are not alone.
